NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the dates and for the times stated:-

Road Resurfacing Works – R639 Riverstown to Glanmire Bridge 

From Monday 14^th of August 2017 to Friday 25^th of August 2017

(09.00hrs to 17.00hrs Daily)

The R639 from its junction with the R615 at Old Youghal Road to its junction with the L2999.

Alternative route:

From Hazelwood head southeast on School Terrace R639 towards the Old Youghal Road. At junction turn right onto Old Youghal Road R615. Continue on Old Youghal Road R615 for 2.8 km. Turn left onto Mayfield Park R635, continue on this road for 1.3 km. Turn left to stay on R635. Merge onto Lower Glanmire road N8 and continue onto Dunkettle Roundabout.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Dunkettle to Hazelwood.
